As
you can see the WebPage fairies visited last night.... there are some
obvious changes, as you can see. Some of the parts still aren't working
but I think it's awsome. Thanks to Jeff Davison for all your help and
awsome ideas! I have to say the last webpage designer was much sexier
though - I miss you Chuck Nores.
My theory above has stewed in my
brain for a while, why would companies - who have the ability to produce
enough for the market, have people smart enough to judge what that market
will be - continuously have deficits in supply for the first several months
of a release? It has to be free marketing. You will also notice that there
will be more then enough X-box 360's this Holiday season. This also makes
logical sense, when the other two are sold out the 360 is more likely
to be purchased. I'm not making a judgement call on this at all. Just
an observation, that to be remembered you have to be in demand. Be that
HOT ticket item that no one can find but everyone wants.
I will now say that I don't believe
the PS3 will be a success, unless by success you mean sucking the fame
off it's former hits and limping on like an alcholic burn't out rock star
- bloated from years of drug/alchol/transfat abuse, just waiting to overdose
in a bathroom - then maybe by that definition it will be a success. The
Wii - oh god to I love the comericals - is tasty and satisfying. Did I
just say that? Whoops. I am happy with it. My friend said they other day
he would make love to the Wii if he wasn't sure it would wreck the machine.
He hasn't gotten out in a while.
Those are my thoughts, I'll leave
you to yours.
