in the 90s, modified slightly for use as a game metaphor. I won’t
be able to afford a Wii let alone an xbox 360 or even half a playstation
3. But the PS3 is from Sony… and if there is a company that knows
how to milk it’s fanbase of their money it has to be the company
that brought you Everquest. Though the pay as you play mmo has become
the norm, it won’t be long before micropayments on the PS3 force
you to eternally have Sony strapped to the teat of your wallet/purse.
Though proprietary technologies are involved in credit card scanners
and swipers this is but a gross characterization of what is to come
should we continue to allow for Sony to evilly beguile us with their
matte black finish and wavey shapes. Minidisc players and memory sticks,
Vaio’s and now PS3s are all there to sway you with their cool
technological appearances while they hungrily chew at your wallet. Join
