We moved recently.
And in the process of this moving it was necessary that I change the telephone and internet over from our apartment to our new condo. And low on a Wednesday morning circa 1238 in the A.M, just after completing a well-run Uldaman instance and harvesting a firebloom in The Blasted Lands Telus decided it was time to move the service over…
And 5 days later I was finally able to get my character to an inn. That was 5 days of rested experience I could have been garnering to make the climb from 47 to 48 that much less onerous. Oh, I could have gotten someone I know well to log on for me, I could have run my laptop to somewhere with a connection and ported to Ironforge or something… but there was a dark part of me that took a great deal of comfort in martyrdom and suffering… that while I was moving I was able to lament at length about Telus’ shortcomings and my poor character’s lack of a warm bed, or comfortable chair in an inn.
Which leads me to inform Blizzard that in real life people don’t become rested sitting in those hard wooden chairs that you have made available to characters, and furthermore, why aren’t there any chairs by the fire? No one sits at that table… you should really consider moving that over and getting some comfortable leather chairs for your clients. I know I would pay more to stay at that kind of an inn.
