I'm not exactly sure where Valen got his information, but let me tell you, he is very wrong. We will move along and skip the part where you ask how I know this.
If you've been paying attention to Tycho's rants these days, you might observe his rather obtuse criticisms of Spore and Halo3, or other up and coming "pop" games, these reviews seem to be nothing more than rather linguistically decorated attempts at derogatory criticisms, ones inteded to either get a rise. Perhaps one might conclude that in their fatherly old age, they may be heading over to the other end of the spectrum, where few go so that one might appear "edgey" and "rebellious". If you look close, nothing is actually being said. In the past those two entrepreneurial fiends have been spot on with several of their criticisms, but lately the icons have been lacking.
My own projects are leading me in interesting directions. Often when one enters into a project with multiple partners, the result can sometimes be skewed by the other participant wanting to please the first rather than enjoy seeing their own goals achieved. This can cause problems... for now I return to the drawing board.
